Kathleen Clark is a Adult Educator, Instructional Designer, Curriculum Developer, Technical Writer, Training Specialist and Learning Design professional who analyzes job performance needs and proposes options for engaging and effective learning solutions with respect to individual needs and goals. She identifies and defines learning outcomes by consulting with clients to provide high-quality learning experiences and builds working relationships with SME’s to gather information and feedback to incorporate into learning solutions. Design and execution of learning solutions from beginning to end are of particular importance to Kathleen in her work. She has created eLearning, software simulations, videos, user manuals, software documentation, eLearning courses, Instructor-led training, job aids, workbooks, train-the-trainer courses, web pages, procedures, surveys, assessments and slide presentations, among other initiatives. Her goals are always to ensure the instructional integrity of learning solutions throughout the design, development, and delivery cycles. 

 

Kathleen believes education should support the idea of full autonomy while respecting the individual’s job function and that education should be timely and relevant. She has performed learning design and training delivery as part of her job function in varying degrees throughout most of her career. She has not only created documentation and education for many software related projects, but has also delivered empathetic and intuitive training for many of those projects as well. She previously worked with stakeholders, subject matter experts and end users to discover and enhance workflow design and support, execute knowledge transfer, and create instructional materials. Her work experience in a wide variety of industries demonstrates resilience and provides a wide knowledge base from which to draw.

Kathleen’s involvement in IT in many roles from programmer to analyst to project management demonstrates an ability to analyze and data collect, logically process information, manage competing projects, and support multiple project-related efforts. Kathleen’s involvement in the healthcare industry demonstrates a proven high-degree of confidentiality and trustworthiness. 

Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Adult Education from Bellevue University, an Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, and a Certificate in Graphic Design and Visual Communication from Emory University. She also possesses a number of certifications in L&D and other industries. 

Kathleen comes from a family of celebrated, successful, and admired educators, coaches, and mentors and enjoys volunteering for her church community.
